Etheric Cords 

Our everyday lives and relationships are complicated. Through them we create certain ties and relations which also establish on the energy level where we create the so-called etheric cords. Just as we have energy bodies (astral, mental, spiritual body) besides the physical ones there are invisible cords, etheric cords (cords on the energy level) created with people you are in any way connected in your life. Once those cords become too strong and too big they can manifest physically in the forms of constant exhaustion, lack of energy, back pains, neck or shoulder pains, pressure in the chest etc.

There are etheric cords that often stick out of chakras. Those cords look like surgery tubes and they reach out of your chakras to the chakras of people you used to have a relationship with. Etheric cords usually reach to our brothers and sisters, then father, mother, ex-partner, ex-lover, present partner or lover, our house, children and all our good and close friends. These relationships ties are usually full of fear that can be defined as codependency, attachment, fear of being left or unforgiveness. Etheric cords act as tubes in which energy flows in both ways between two people. And that is the problem. If someone you care for has problems then this person will suck your energy. He or she will suck your energy supply through the etheric cord. You will feel exhausted and squeezed without knowing why. Your ex-sexual partners are often tied to your sacral chakra. People you are in conflict with are tied to your belly chakra - plexus solaris. The people you mourn for are tied to your heart chakra. Those that were involved in a painful relationship with you or made you carry most of the burden are tied to your shoulders. When we are attached to our home or geographical area our etheric cords extend from our feet into the ground. Cutting cords does not mean that you stop loving others or that you do not care any more. Cutting cords also does not necessary lead to a break-up. It only means you wish to renounce part of your relationship that does not serve or support you any more. Don't forget, fear is the opposite of love and strong etheric cords are the consequence of fear.
