Major Archana - Presentation Minor Archana - Presentation Courses ![]() »Creative
ideas show their value when they are used as a key to open the door of
non-determined connections among facts and allow a person to penetrate deeper
into the secret of life.« Of all
the varieties of tarot we find Thoth tarot the most fascinating. It was
conceived by Aleister Crowley and designed and painted by Frieda Harris.
It is our experience that this is the only collection of tarot cards that takes
into consideration numerology, astrology, alchemy and kabala. It contains
symbolic traditions of many cultures: Egyptian, Mediaeval and Christian. What
fascinates us most is the quality of artistic realization, comparative
symbolism and excellent interpretation of Jung's psychodynamics. What is tarot? »Tarot
can be described as God's picture book. It can be compared to heavenly game of
chess where the colours of cards are moved on the chessboard of the four
elements.« TAROT
- a book of wisdom and a map of consciousness Tarot is
a visual map of consciousness and a symbolic system that offers an insight into
business affairs, personal incentives and spiritual development of people. As a
map of consciousness it presents part
of a whole life experience, combining the practical everyday world with
spiritual growth and personality development. Tarot actually reflects the
possibility that every individual has: to see life as a process of walking
the mystical path in casual shoes. How does it work? Tarot
acts through the unconscious symbolic sights of consciousness, the ones that
are used in dreams. Laying tarot cards is a symbolic behaviour or a consciously
triggered vision because the participants feel they are performing this act
with a symbolic meaning and therefore consciously try to change into an active,
moving symbol that later on returns in the mirror of tarot. The so acquired
meaning reflects movement that is
capable of bridging the gap between the symbolic and material, between the
invisible and visible. Symbols enable us to communicate in the language that
approaches our soul. It is reflected in dreams and contemplative states. The Origin of Tarot The
origin of tarot cards is unknown. Metaphysics teachers often refer to ancient
Egyptian and Hermetic magic schools but the first so far discovered packs of
cards were either Egyptian or European. A Pack of Tarot Cards A pack
contains 78 cards and consists of the major and minor archana. · Minor archana is divided into four
so-called suits (Swords, Cups, Staves and
Disks) and at the same time contains the Court Symbols. In every suit there are
14 cards from Ace to Ten, Knight, Queen, Prince and Princess. · Major archana consists of zero and
Roman numerals from I to XXI. The Major archana reveals the principle of life, common laws and experiences that all
humans go through. Similarly to I Ching, the Eastern book of Changes, tarot is a western book of changes.
While the hexagrams of I Ching present changes in literary and natural
metaphors, tarot is their visual illustration. More info: Shana Flogie +386 41 410 176 This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it |
